  • Develop mutually beneficial relationships with you to deliver greater levels of innovation and competitive advantage than could be achieved by operating independently.

  • Help each other grow.

  • Recognise that strong relationships are crucial to securing future work.

VALUE FOR MONEY

POLYFUSE is a Western Australian owned and operated company. It specialises in pipe welding, fabrication and associated services to meet the needs of a broad range of industrial, commercial and government Clients throughout Australia.

The primary objective of POLYFUSE is to deliver on time, cost effective services to an expert standard at all times.  A high level of customer service is expected to be delivered to all Clients on an ongoing basis. This is assisted through maintaining strong relationships with all Suppliers and Contractors.

Executive management recognises that a complete commitment to quality throughout its operations is vital for its continued success. Communication, total understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures are an essential part of the process. In consultation with all employees, this has resulted in the establishment of a comprehensive Health, Safety, Environment Quality Management System (HSEQ System).

The HSEQ System, including this Policy and the Quality Objectives are constantly monitored and reviewed to ensure relevance and that the needs of Clients and the Company are being met. Any prospective system changes are communicated and understood with all employees before implementation. Corrective Action is integral to the process.

POLYFUSE also recognise the importance of continuing research, education and continual improvement to our HSEQ System, and commit the entire organisation to consistently meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

POLYFUSE recognises that the health, safety and welfare of employees, contractors, clients and visitors at our sites are our responsibility. We’re committed to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and the prevention of work related injuries and illness in accordance with occupational health and safety legislation.

Our commitment extends to all POLYFUSE sites and is regularly reviewed in light of developments in community expectation, management practices, science and technology and changes to legislation and best practice. We’re committed to zero accidents and work towards this by having measurable, annual objectives and targets.

We’ve established comprehensive safety systems and a culture within our organisation that holds safety above all else. We’re flexible enough to meet client needs but at the same time we only work to industry best practice. All of our employees are trained and place a high value on their own safety and those around them.

SPECIALISED INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

SIMS is fundamental to the operation of POLYFUSE and to our document control system.  It’s an electronic database system available to all employees at the main office as well as remote/site based locations. This ensures business processes are completed uniformly across work sites and the data entered is seen real-time by both Office and Site-based employees.

The system has been custom built by Triboss Software Development to control a wide range of business functions within the organisation. These functions include health & safety but also estimating, procurement, job management, quality, weld management and multiple administrative functions.

Some of the major features and how they relate to health & safety are:

  • Safety - able to record and view Safety statistics, incidents reported and JHA’s and the availability of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

  • HR/Employee features - ability to clock on/off, record and track employee details including qualification, trade certificates, medicals, inductions and expiry dates on relevant documents.

  • Document Records - ability to record and track revisions of registered forms, policies, procedures enabling fast access to documents by all users.

  • Assets - track testing and tagging data, calibration requirements and service and maintenance history.
